All of our attorneys have litigated on both sides of the docket. Although much commercial and business litigation is defensive in nature, often our business clients are forced to use the courts affirmatively to protect their rights. Reeves & Brightwell lawyers have significant plaintiff experience. On behalf of business clients, our lawyers have prosecuted numerous breach-of-contract and fraud actions. In addition, we have represented individuals who have been wronged in discrimination and related litigation. Reeves & Brightwell is currently or has recently served as plaintiff's counsel in lawsuits in administrative agencies, state court, and federal court. Additionally, Reeves & Brightwell is serving as local plaintiff's counsel in a major patent-infringement case pending in the Western District of Texas. For our plaintiff-side litigation, we work flexibly with our clients to find a fee arrangement that fits the needs of the client and the case.
Just as our extensive experience as defense counsel helps us to be more effective plaintiff's counsel, so too our plaintiff-side experience allows us to more effectively serve our clients on the defense-side of the docket.
