Luke graduated from Northwestern University School of Law, and is admitted
to practice in both Texas and Illinois. He is a civil litigator with
experience in state and federal court and has worked on a variety of matters
involving contract disputes, deceptive trade practices,
breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, employment issues,
products liability, tort defense and civil rights.
Luke was named the 2011 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by American Gateways.
Representative Matters
- Assists in the representation of major computer manufacturer in products
liability actions, both domestically and internationally
- Assists in the defense of construction material manufacturer
in products liability actions filed on behalf of subrogating interests
and homeowners
- Assisted in the representation of major semi-conductor manufacturer
in breach of contract/breach of fiduciary duty litigation
- Assisted in the representation of major computer manufacturer in
class action alleging unfair pricing practices
- Assisted in the representation of international natural foods grocery
store chain in copyright infringement lawsuit brought by the designer of
the chain's private-label logo
- Successful representation of Eritrean man in his Application for
Asylum before the Immigration Court of San Antonio
- Assisted in the representation of international airline in breach of
contract, defamation and tortuous interference with business relationship
brought by former travel agency
- Assisted in the representation of municipal police departments and
individual police officers in multiple lawsuits alleging wrongful death,
excessive force, false arrest and civil rights violations
- Defended multiple premises liability actions filed against both
government entities and private property owners
